The story of the Ramenskoye City Court issuing a suspended sentence for a gang of former employees of the Anti-Drug Department of the Ramenskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Moscow Region (Pankratova, Sorokoletova, Kukina, Gorkova, Antonov and Susloparov), who planted drugs on victims and fabricated materials against them promptly – search activities (several victims received real sentences in cases fabricated by a gang of former police officers – up to 6 years of imprisonment in maximum security colonies), ENDED.

Today, the Moscow Regional Court considered the protest of the Ramensky City Prosecutor’s Office and the victim’s appeal against the excessive lenity of the sentence of the Ramensky City Court, which gave suspended sentences to all the defendants. The Moscow Regional Court changed the verdict of the Ramensky City Court and excluded from the verdict the indication of the application of Art. 73 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (suspended sentence). All the defendants were taken into custody in the courtroom, except for the gang leader, D.V. Pankratov, who did not appear at the hearing, having provided a certificate from a therapist that he was not feeling well. He will be taken into custody as soon as his whereabouts are established.
