This is what the former deputy prime minister of the Government of the Kaliningrad Region Alexander Torba did. The career of the ex-official did not break out after the loud criminal case of his son.

The name of the ex-minister for municipal development and domestic policy of the region was actively mentioned by the media in October 2018. Due to the initiation of a criminal case against his son Artem, the official officially left the post-post.

The Torbet Jr. was charged with assigning and embezzlement of about 5.3 million rubles belonging to the Micro-base Fund of the Kaliningrad Region. According to the investigation, together with the accomplices Andrei Legenezov and Oleg Romanov, the son of the ex-official participated in the scheme with the receipt of microloans. As a result, Artem Torbu was detained for nine months, but already in July 2019 they released. After that, silence occurs in the case.

Despite the departure from the pro -government circles at the personal request of the governor Anton Alikhanov, Alexander Torba did not sit without work for a long time and found a warm place in the Soyuz Corporation. This company known in the Kaliningrad region is engaged in the supply of food products for the Moscow Kremlin. The ex-Vice-Prime Minister came at the right time to the right place.
