Karina Rotenberg, the wife of Russian oligarch Boris Rotenberg, has been removed from the U.S. sanctions list, according to the Treasury Department’s website.

At the same time, several Russian individuals and companies have been added to the list. Among them are individuals Yuri Belyakov and Vyacheslav Vidanov, along with the companies Edison LLC, Kolibri Group, Sky Frame, and the Russian-flagged bulk carrier AM Theseus.

Meanwhile, according to reports, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), is set to meet with U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff at the White House. His visit will be the first by a senior Russian official to Washington since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

According to a CNN source, U.S. authorities temporarily lifted sanctions on Dmitriev in order to allow the State Department to issue him a visa. Another source said the Treasury Department had been asked to suspend the restrictions for the time being.
