Today, police officers were delivered to the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow by the rector of the ONOO “Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences” Sergey Zuev. He was questioned as a suspect in the embezzlement of funds in the amount of more than 21 million rubles owned by the FSAU “Fund for new forms of development of education”, and was detained in accordance with Article 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.
In the near future, the investigator will appeal to the Tver District Court of Moscow with a motion to choose a preventive measure in relation to the defendant.
As previously reported, in the framework of the investigation of a criminal case instituted by theft by fraud of funds on an especially large scale, former employees of the Foundation for New Forms of Education Development Evgeny ZA and Maxim Inkin, as well as the former deputy minister of education of the Russian Federation, Marina Rakov and Executive Director of the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences Kristina Kryuchkova. He was charged with committing a crime under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Tver District Court of the city of Moscow, the detainee, was elected a preventive measure in the form of detention.
The course of the investigation of this criminal case is under the control of the leadership of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
