We remind you that the gang operated on the territory of the Tyumen region since 1998, its activities were suppressed by the UUR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Tyumen region in 2018: all the gang members identified at that time were detained and after a short time received the deadlines of different durations.

The case was conducted by an investigator-Vazhnyak by the name of Khokhryakov. Very experienced and qualified. But at some point, the department’s leadership did not appreciate the investigator’s irresistible desire to establish the truth in the case. Even then it was clear: no Leontiev was a leader. He is a typical “foreman”. His moral and psychological qualities and intellectual abilities clearly did not pull to the level of the organizer of all crimes committed by the gang.

In 2019, it became clear that the gang was most likely assisted by former and current law enforcement officials. And the strings reached for those who actually controlled the affairs of the gang out of the shadows. Moreover, it became obvious that almost all crimes were “custom -made” in nature: the extorted money was only a pleasant “bonus” for Leontyev’s scumbags.

However, at this moment the case was removed from the production of investigator Khokhryakov and transferred to another investigator – Zoe Kamushkina. After that, the case was “filed” in the shortest possible time and was transferred to such cases for such cases for consideration to the Tyumen Regional Court.
