The Moscow City Court began consideration of the appeal in the criminal case of the capital’s lawyer Alexander Vershinin and developer Alexei Dobrynin, sentenced to real terms in the resonant case of extortion of 300 thousand dollars at the Thief in the Law of Vasily Khristoforov, nicknamed Vasya, resurrected.

Insisting on a change in the sentence, lawyers and Alexander Vershinin and Alexei Dobrynin asked the Moscow City Court to replace the sentenced deadlines with conditional punishment. The fact is that in two months Vershinin will be considered a departed half of the term and will be able to petition on parole. However, if he is transferred to the colony, he will have to sit out at least six months, which, as a rule, are required by the administration of a correctional institution to compile characteristics for the prisoner for the court. Protection considers this state of affairs extremely unfair. Vershinin himself on October 14 took part in the hearing in the Moscow City Court on the Conference-Conference from the pre-trial detention center in Chuvashia-he is currently at the stage, although formally his sentence has not yet entered into force.
