The main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow completed an investigation into a criminal case against Lyubov Sobol. She is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 139 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the inviolability of the dwelling committed using violence).
According to the investigation, on December 21, 2020, Sobol repeatedly tried to penetrate the apartment of an elderly woman located in a house in the eastern district of the capital. To achieve her goal, she seemed to be an employee of Rospotrebnadzor.
After two failed attempts, the sable misled the courier of the delivery service, introducing himself as a “abandoned wife, that it was supposedly in the apartment her small child, with whom she was not allowed to communicate,” and went into the entrance of a residential building. When the owner of the apartment in which she lives with her family opened the door, Sable pushed her and, applying physical strength to the mistress of the apartment, burst into the apartment. Despite the repeatedly expressed demand for an elderly woman to leave the dwelling, Sobol went around all the premises, while renting her illegal actions on the phone, after which she left her home and disappeared.
As part of the investigation, the necessary investigative and procedural actions were carried out, which completely expose L. Sobol in the charged act.
The investigation collected a sufficient evidence base, in connection with which the criminal case was sent to the prosecutor’s office to approve the indictment and subsequent transfer to the court for consideration on the merits.
In addition, against other persons, the criminal case was allocated into a separate proceeding. Investigators continue to carry out the necessary investigative actions and operational-search measures aimed at establishing and detaining all those involved in the crime.
