“Between them there was a protracted conflict, which has lasted since 2007. During the municipal elections, the father of the Kurbanov brothers was first beaten, then one of the brothers. In 2015, also during the elections between them there was a conflict “– said the defender.

In December 2020 The conflict between the Kurbanov and Kapapaponov worsened. “Kurbanov, the previous head of the village of Novokuli allocated a plot for the construction of a house, but the current head of the village of Novokuli, a relative of Abakar Kaplanova, at the end of 2020 began to make a complaint about this site. He demanded that the brothers abandon this land. Then again, a conflict occurred between the brothers and Kaplanov in the building of the Novokulinsky rural administration “– explained Sedredinov.

A few hours before the murder of Kapaplan, along with armed people, he drove up to the car of one of the Kurbanov brothers near the cafe, where the Russian Guard arrived with family members.
