The Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin said that, according to preliminary estimates, the damage from the flood in the region will exceed 40 billion rubles, the correspondent of The Moscow Postus reports.

The flood reached the peak, the most difficult situation is in Orenburg. Another 3.5 thousand houses and almost four thousand sites can be flooded there. In Orsk, the situation has improved, the water level decreased by 14 centimeters per day.

“In Orenburg and in Orsk, despite the difficulties, all life support systems function. Somewhere with restrictions, but water, electricity, heat – work,” Pasler emphasized.

He added that the epidemiological situation in the region is calm.

Recall that from the fourth of April in the region there is a regional emergency regime due to a deterioration in the flood situation. On April 7, the Government Commission decided to attribute floods in the Orenburg region to an emergency of a federal nature. The most serious situation is observed in Orsk and Orenburg.
