The chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Tyumen Region A. Kubnakov To transfer the criminal case of an accident in the Tyumen region with a fatal outcome, the commission of which is suspected of an employee of the regional investigative department, to organize a further investigation into the production of investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of November 23 to 24, 2021, the suspect, while intoxicated, driving a passenger car, allowed two road workers. From the injuries received, the victims died on the spot. On this fact, the investigating authorities of the IC of Russia in the Tyumen region against an employee of the regional investigative department opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph “a” of part 6 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of the road, which entailed by negligence the death of two or more persons who are intoxicated)
Today the suspect was detained, the investigation intends to submit to the court a request to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention. The employee has already been dismissed from the bodies of the Investigative Committee for negative reasons.
As part of a further investigation of the criminal case, investigators were instructed to establish all the circumstances of this accident and give a comprehensive and fundamental legal assessment of the actions of the culprit of the accident.
