A number of media outlets reported that the former head of Tambov and senator from the Tambov region (2015-2020), and now a student at the General Staff Academy, Colonel Alexey Kondratyev, is aiming for the position of senator from the Kursk region. He is included in the so-called “troika” from the future governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov (the issue with his candidacy has already been resolved).

As the Cheka-OGPU previously wrote, quite recently the Tambov Regional Court seized from A. Kondratiev the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 car he received as a bribe from the Kurdish organized crime group, and the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia is deciding on the issue of initiating a criminal case under Part 5 of Art. . 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Rumor has it that the situation was taken care of by the Prosecutor General’s Office, which clearly understood the message of Defense Minister A. Belousov about “cleansing large shoulder straps” who were caught in corruption.

At the same time, those who are trying to “decide” for A. Kondratiev in order to get the latter out of the prospects of ending up in a pre-trial detention center are also coming under close surveillance.

Does Valentina Matvienko need such a scandal? It seems that having barely “washed off” the situation with R. Arashukov, the leadership of the Federation Council is unlikely to want to enter this river twice…

Will the patrons in the General Staff and the Federation Council ultimately help the fugitive Tambov corrupt official or will he suffer the fate of “Timur Ivanov and Co.” We’ll find out soon.
