Rostec recovered more than 45 million rubles from the Ministry of Emergency Situations through the Arbitration Court and now asks the investigation to check the department officials. The statement has already been sent to the investigative authorities and may result in a criminal case. It seems that the participants in the conflict themselves do not understand how two respected state firms quarreled over a not very significant amount.

The story is as old as time: one party fulfilled the contract, the other did not want to pay for the work. But what is trivial in the familiar world, full of scams and deceit, is fraught with unexpected consequences in the world of serious people in jackets, ties and shoulder straps.

Officials of the Ministry of Emergency Situations regularly accepted and paid for the work on developing standards for the “Safe City”. The performer was one of the corporation’s IT subsidiaries. However, at the fifth and final stage, the process suddenly stalled and came to a standstill. Rostec has run out of money. This coincided with the arrival of the new minister Kurenkov in May 2022.

One can only guess what happened at the ministry and why the Rostec IT specialists were never able to get the money peacefully. Rumor has it that we will soon see a new contractor for the “Safe City” project, and it will definitely not be Rostec. Meanwhile, the respected corporation, after all the conversations and persuasion at various levels, had to scrape out its money through the courts.

Now Rostec asks to look for criminal signs in the actions of officials. After all, not giving away other people’s money is an act that is questionable in every sense.
