Russia’s new missile makes ‘mockery’ of China’s calls for restraint: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday that Russia was effectively “mocking” its ally China’s calls for restraint by firing a new generation experimental missile on Ukraine.

“From Russia, this is a mockery of the position of states such as China, states of the Global South, some leaders who call for restraint every time,” Zelensky said in a video address published on social media.
