Putin, Scholz had ‘frank’ discussion on Ukraine: Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had a “frank exchange” on Ukraine, the Kremlin said Friday, after the first phone call between the two in nearly two years.

“There was a detailed and frank exchange of views over the situation in Ukraine,” the Kremlin said in a statement, adding that the call had been initiated by Germany.
