The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation became interested in the conspiracy in the school food market of Chelyabinsk.
As it became known to the correspondent The Moscow Post in the Chelyabinsk Regionthe prosecutor of the Chelyabinsk region, Karen Gabrielyan conducts information about possible violations in the activities of officials of the administration of Chelyabinsk and the Ural Power Plant JSC.
The relevant order was received by the head of the supervisory department of the Southern Urals from the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation.
But the mayor of Chelyabinsk Natalia Kotova, but also the Governor Alexei Texler, can have big troubles, since worried parents of schoolchildren repeatedly asked the governor to intervene in the process with poor -quality and dangerous food, which the Urals plant supplies in the region’s schools.
18 contracts for 2 billion rubles
The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation took up Chelyabinsk officials and companies affiliated with them. And these companies, according to FAS, earned billions on supplies to schools in the city of worm dinners, cutlets with a surprise, compote from larvae and other dangerous “delicacies”.
In the OFAS in the Chelyabinsk region, as a result of verification of contracts concluded in 2021 for three years, they came to the conclusion that the Committee on Education of the City Administration forced the institution to cooperate with the Ural Power Plant JSC.
The result was the signing of 18 contracts, the value of which amounted to almost 2 billion rubles.
But the Ural power plant itself could not cope with the volume of work, because of which, according to the UFAS, illegally transferred part of the work for subcontracting at a lower cost.

As a result, about 50% of the cost of work remained in the company’s accounts.
In the actions of the subordinates of Kotova and Woe-commerce, the employees of the UFAS revealed violations of paragraph 4 of Art. 16 of the Law on the Protection of Competition during joint competitions.

And on April 16, 2024, they appealed to the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region with a statement to recognize it illegal.
But while the court left the application without movement, as this statement was submitted in violation.
In the footsteps of Boris Dubrovsky
They say that the mayor Natalya Kotova and Governor Alexei Texler took the slippery path of the ex-governor Boris Dubrovsky (was the head of the region in 2014-2019).
Mr. Dubrovsky, who today is hiding either in Switzerland, or in Luxembourg, also tried to challenge the verdict of the federal agency about cartel conspiracy.

And these attempts ended in full Fiasco in 2022.
Boris Dubrovsky was no longer by the governor by that time, and the reason for his removal before the end of the first term of office was the investigation of the FAS conspiracy with the participation of the Chelyabinsk region in the field of road repair and handling of solid items.

In particular, it was said that children’s catering should be carried out through the implementation of the main menu, including hot meals, additional nutrition, as well as individual menu for children in need of medical and dietary nutrition … The sale of food products, parts of which are affected by visible parasites, is unacceptable.
