In August 2018, the verdict of the Khimkinsky City Court of the Moscow Region Safronov was found guilty of a crime and he was sentenced to 3 years in prison, with a sentence in a general regime colony. Alexey German disappeared from the preliminary investigation authorities and left the territory of Russia. In 2018, he was put on an international wanted list, his location in Spain was later established. In 2021, by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom of Spain, a decision was made on its extradition to Russia.
