The investigator of the Investigative Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate for Sochi of the Krasnodar Territory against the driver of the Mercedes car opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to preliminary information, on October 9, at about 21.00 on the Adler -Alpika Service highway, he drove into the oncoming traffic lane and made a collision with the Volkswagen car.
As a result of the traffic accident, the Volkswagen car born in 1986, born from injuries, died before the ambulance brigade arrived. The driver born in 1993 and the second passenger born in 1991 received injuries of varying severity and were taken to the medical institution.
During the preliminary investigation, a set of investigative actions was carried out: inspection of the scene, interrogations of the suspect and witnesses, forensic medical examinations were scheduled for passengers of the Volkswagen car.
Today, the driver of the Mercedes car is charged. The Adler district court of the city of Sochi chose him a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest.
In the Main Investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, an order was sent to the production of individual investigative actions, in particular, on the call for interrogation as witnesses of all passengers who were in the salon of the Mercedes car, including Ksenia Sobchak.
