But the most “convenient” suspect for air poisoning for the authorities is the “New World – ECO” test site, whose work Drozdenko has already promised stop, forgetting to explain where the waste should go (to the forests?). Drozdenko is not once notedthat the situation with the landfill was inherited from his predecessors (who, apparently, should now solve the problem?).
At the same time, there are other landfills in the Leningrad Region that are not planned to be closed, although they are less technologically advanced and safe. In the Moscow region, 11 waste processing enterprises have already been put into operation, separate collection is approaching 80%, and the entire volume of MSW is sorted. 100% of waste is sorted in the Oryol region, far from the capital, over 90% – in the Kaluga and Kostroma regions.
