German prosecutors file criminal charges against 5 climate activists

German prosecutors said on Monday they have filed charges against five climate activists of the group “Last Generation”, including for forming a criminal organisation.

The Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed it had “filed charges against five members of Last Generation with the State Security Chamber… for, among other things, forming a criminal organisation”.
