A comical moment – it turned out that Boluchevsky gave approximately half of the stolen 700 million to a certain acquaintance Marina Menshchikova, who promised to put the financier in the chair of the Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for this money. Now the talented lady is on the international wanted list for particularly large-scale fraud. Let’s move on to the harsh stuff. A month after Boluchevsky’s arrest, the head of the administration of the Vyborg district of the Leningrad Region, Gennady Orlov, was detained and arrested. And this is not just a manager – he is a protege of the owner of Vyborgsky, Alexander Petrov, who was once all-powerful in a good half of the Leningrad region (and once in the regional government). He was killed by a couple of sniper shots about a year before the arrests of officials, and this high-profile contract killing was not only not solved, but everyone seemed to have forgotten about it.
