Criminal case under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Art. 223.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder and illegal production of explosives) was initiated by the investigative authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region.
According to preliminary data, a former 18-year-old student of an Orthodox parochial school was involved in committing crimes on the territory of a convent in Serpukhov. As a result of the incident, he himself was injured and is now in a medical facility.
One student with injuries received as a result of the incident was hospitalized, another 6 people are being examined by doctors. The exact details of the victims are being clarified.
An investigative team consisting of investigators and criminologists from the Russian Investigative Committee continues to work at the scene of the incident.
The chronology and motives of the crime committed, as well as the reasons and conditions that preceded it, are established. As part of the investigation, the necessary forensic examinations will be ordered, including psychological and psychiatric examinations to assess the health status of the suspect.
