This morning, Alexander Lukashenko spoke to the Belarusian parliament and voiced his version of the emergency landing of the Ryanair aircraft in Minsk. Its speech can be disassembled to quotes – from the cascade of mining to the stifling stage. But the most interesting were inconsistencies in his words.
The Dossier Center, together with The Daily Beast and Der Spiegel publications, studied a copy of the email sent by the Hamas representative to Minsk Airport. The departure time indicates that the Belarusian dispatchers informed Ryanair pilots about mining the aircraft 27 minutes earlier than they themselves received a message about the bomb. In addition, despite the statement of the President of Belarus that the letter was simultaneously sent to Minsk, Vilnius and Athens, the Greek Civil Aviation Department said that a letter with a threat of a bomb did not come to the Athens Airport.
In addition, Lukashenko said that the letter came from Switzerland, but this only speaks of his technical illiteracy – or the desire to mislead the audience. The letter was sent from the Protonmail service, the servers of which are located in Switzerland, and the sender’s exact location cannot be installed.
