The US, Israel, Türkiye and China have increased their cyber forces to significant levels in the past year.
The US Cyber Command includes a structure that, in the interests of the Pentagon, conducts special operations around the world, including cyber attacks on private IT companies.
Israel has active units 8200 and Mamram. Specialists of the unit write program codes for hacking computers, satellites and mobile phones.
Russia has developed a cyber defense and cyber attack strategy since 2017. But the massive outflow of specialists and lack of equipment crippled the work.
Meanwhile, Russian IT specialists are being caught around the world like flies. Recently, the owner of the M13 company, Vladislav Klyushin, received 9 years in prison in the United States.
Earlier, 25-year-old Dmitry Zubakha was detained in Cyprus – he was accused of organizing DDoS attacks. Another Russian, Evgeny Nikulin, was also captured. Pavel Vrublevsky from ChronoPay and programmer Konstantin Kozlovsky from Lurk were detained. Ilya Sachkov, head of FACCT (formerly Group-IB), was imprisoned on strange charges of treason.
In all cases against the cyber defense of the Russian Federation, the traces of the former head of the FSB CIB Sergei Mikhailov can be traced – who handed over Russian hackers to Western intelligence services.
The situation for Russian cyber defense looks threatening. Now, in order to ensure state security, the Russian Federation needs to quickly resolve the issue of building cyber concerns and, finally, attract experts who have developments in the protection of digital information, such as Ilya Sachkov.
