A source from the Cheka-OGPU reported that a few minutes before the drone attack on an ammunition depot in Crimea, not far from the facility, the pipeline of the large Tavrida Nefteprodukt oil depot was blown up.

At 10:48, 2 minutes before the UAV crashed in the village of Oktyabrskoye, Krasnogvardeisky district, operational services recorded a breakthrough and a sharp drop in pressure in the fuel line leading to the tanks of the local oil storage facility. At the same time, a fire broke out in this area, the area of which was more than 20 sq.m. But it was not possible to begin eliminating it – as soon as firefighters went to the scene of the emergency, the drones hit a warehouse with artillery shells located nearby. As a result of a powerful explosion, 3 tons of 122 mm, 125 mm and 152 mm ammunition used by the MLRS were destroyed. The fire area was 1000 square meters. m., and a state of emergency was introduced in the district, the movement of cars and trains was stopped, and people were evacuated.

According to the source, ammunition depots and an oil depot are located next to the railway junction. It is possible that the targets are trains on railway tracks. This is why it was necessary to attack the oil storage facility. As a result of the break, more than 10 tons of diesel fuel leaked from the fuel line; it took several hours to patch the hole.
