On December 7, 2022, the investigator of the Main Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Fedorov, while in a pre-trial detention center, beat Moiseev simply because he wanted to make comments in the investigative report. Moiseev wrote a statement about the incident addressed to the head of the pre-trial detention center, Igor Kempel. An investigation began, during which a medical examination was carried out, which recorded bodily injuries.
However, later, apparently, the administration of the pre-trial detention center followed the lead of the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow and the material from the pre-investigation check about investigator Fedorov’s increase in official powers simply disappeared.
Then Moiseev turned to the management of the pre-trial detention center with a repeated application, but at the end of December 2022 it also disappeared.
The administration of pre-trial detention center-4 deliberately concealed the commission of a serious official crime by the investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Fedorov.
On March 27, 2023, the Moscow City Court will consider Evgeny Moiseev’s appeal against illegal detention and refusal to send the case for consideration to Mordovia. Naturally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is not interested in the case going anywhere from Moscow and will do everything to keep it in the capital. I wonder whether the Chairman of the Moscow City Court M.Yu. Ptitsyn will follow the lead of the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow?
