The most difficult situation arose in the Orenburg region, where on Friday, April 5, there was a breakthrough of the dam, protecting the city of Orsk from the Ural River. The authorities were forced to conduct mass evacuation of residents from the old city.
A federal emergency regime was introduced in the region.
