The corpse of a man with multiple stab wounds was discovered on a garden plot in the SNT in the Zenovskoye settlement. The body found a daughter with her grandchildren when the father stopped in touch.
As it became known to MK, on October 23, 69-year-old Alexei Gerasimovich visited his daughter living on a neighboring street. Having talked with his grandchildren, daughter and son -in -law, the former large boss went to his site. After that, no one could get through to him for a long time. On the morning of October 25, the daughter decided to visit her father. Around 16.30 she came to the site to dad – and to her horror found him dead. The body with stab wounds was in the bath. The police at the scene, during the inspection, found that a cell phone had disappeared. What else could abuse is now being installed. In the house itself, the order was not violated. Alexei Novoseltsev did not warn relatives that someone should come to him or come.
On the fact of the detection of the corpse, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
Andrei Novoseltsev has long been considered one of the best specialists in economic crimes. In particular, he headed the headquarters to investigate the ordered murder of the Governor of the Magadan region Valentina Tsvetkov. After the resignation of Novoselsev, he headed the Orthodox World Foundation, was close to Patriarch Alexy the Second and secretly was responsible for the security service of the Russian Orthodox Church. The version of the relationship of the crime with the old cases of Novoseltsev is also checked.
