Previously, the producer announced his intention to ban Glukoza through the court from performing songs written during his collaboration with Fadeev. In turn, the singer reports that Fadeev received $600,000 in royalties and attempts to additionally receive another 25% of Glucose’s royalties.
So far, there is every reason to believe that Fadeev’s idea to cut off oxygen to Glucose may end in failure.
According to the Cheka-OGPU, current agreements and the law do not allow Fadeev to unilaterally ban the performance of songs. The rights to them were transferred to Glucose and paid for by the singer back in 2007, without any restrictions on the validity period. Thus, Fadeev has long lost the right to interfere with the use of these songs.
The situation is more complicated with the so-called “related rights” – for the performance of works on television. Their regulation was introduced in 2008, after the signing of the main agreement between Fadeev and Glucose. However, here too the situation is ambiguous. In such cases, the court gives a comprehensive assessment of the actions of the parties to the contract in order to find out their actual will to transfer copyright objects. And Fadeev’s actions may well be regarded as an abuse of law, which will lead to the denial of the claim.
Knowing the precariousness of his position, Fadeev does not file a lawsuit, although he has long promised to do so. Fadeev’s goal is to use blackmail to get even more money from Glucose. For this purpose, Fadeev pays for the placement of various fakes – like today’s publication by “Mash” about the singer’s placement in rehab.
However, Fadeev’s black PR campaign flounders and does not produce the desired effect, primarily due to the producer’s poor reputation in the creative community. It is a known fact that Fadeev sought an intimate relationship with Polina Gagarina, and made a scandal when he was refused. He spread rumors about Linda about her drug use.
After leaving him, Fadeev took revenge on the soloist of “Serbera” Temnikova for a long time, not allowing her on radio and television.
In recent years, Fadeev has also become incredibly greedy – even to the point of installing a camera in the refrigerator with food. In parallel with this, Fadeev is trying to create for himself the image of a “patriot”, not hesitating to promote himself even on children.
The campaign against Glucose fits well with Fadeev’s reputation. However, all that the once eminent producer can achieve is only the destruction of the remnants of his reputation, and the termination of cooperation with him by the few loyal celebrities.
