In 2017, the Faculty of Political Science and the Department of Management was united in MGIMO. The dean of the new Department of Management and Politics is 28-year-old Henry Sardaryan. This was a surprise to many. A couple of years before, he worked as a document at the dean of the Department of Management, then he became the deputy director of one of the internal units of MGIMO, but, in fact, performed secretary functions and had no managerial experience. And suddenly an unexpected career take -off. However, soon, as the Cheka found out, the explanation appeared, even three explanations.
Explanation-1: Dad. Dad Henry is Tigran Sardaryan Armenian businessman and ex-official of the middle hand with a dubious reputation, head of Mosoblpromstroy. He was engaged in construction sites in different regions of the country and a lot more, the schemes were muddy, and Tigran passed in a number of cases of theft. And at the same time, he is close to the current president of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, which played a role in the fate of his son Henry. So, here several sources confidently say that the position of dean of the new faculty was simply bought. 
Explanation-2: Armenian brotherhood. Back in the late 1980s. The old Partocrat from Yerevan Robert Vachaganovich Engibaryan fell into MGIMO – unrelenting in scientificly, except that many linden dissertations were protected under his sensitive leadership. Using his ties, Engibaryan also advised the young “granting” to Henry Sardaryan so that he, with the help of his father’s money, would go to increase. They say that the Sardaryan Sr. – a businessman on concepts – again thanked Engibaryan generously for this good deed, and not by the Armenian cognac.
Explanation-3: how Rucriminal.info They told several former classmates of Sardaryan and those who studied with him in graduate school, Tigran is working closely with special services, especially among those teachers, graduate students and students who went to protest rallies or showed opposition views in personal conversations. Many of them have a career after such “cooperation” went downhill.
Father’s money, ethnic ties and the patronage of special services and allowed him to become a dean when such an opportunity turned up.
