In the fields of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that in the country it is necessary to return the indexation of pensions to working pensioners.
To date, according to the Russian leader, one of the priorities of the policy of the Russian Federation is the issue of indexing pensions, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports with reference to The Sankt-Peterburg Post.
Putin noted that a double factor is currently observed in Russia – a lack of labor and many are retired, and these are highly qualified specialists necessary for the economy.
The President emphasized the need to support such people and ensure social justice.
Recall that the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is held from June 5 to 8.
