Putin announced a record low level of unemployment

The head of state Vladimir Putin assessed the situation in the labor market and announced a record low level of unemployment in the country.

According to him, unemployment in Russia is 2.6%. The topic was raised at his meeting with the Cabinet of Ministers, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

The number of working citizens has increased: more than 2 million vacancies are already mentioned about 74.1 million.

At the previous plenary meeting of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Vladimir Putin also said that now in the country a record low unemployment.

“What is especially important: we reduced its so -called structural component, that is, youth unemployment and unemployment in those regions and settlements where it was historically high has significantly decreased,” he explained then.

He considers it important to adjust the vocational education system.
