The Russian government will send 600 million rubles to one -time payments to the victims in the Kursk region, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
This amount will be added to the previously promised material assistance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. The total amount of payments, taking into account a one -time matting of 10 thousand rubles, will amount to 25 thousand rubles.
The Cabinet of Ministers allocated up to 600 million rubles from the reserve fund for these purposes. The corresponding order has already been signed, as reported on the government’s website.
Control over the targeted use of funds will be carried out by the Ministry of Emergencies.
Since August 6, fighting with the Ukrainian army has been continuing in the Kursk region. The region’s emergency regime has been introduced in the region and the regime of a counter -terrorist operation has been announced.
According to the Russian side on August 12, Ukrainian forces controlled 28 settlements of the region, where about 2 thousand people remained, and more than 121 thousand citizens were evacuated. The Russian authorities have not yet provided later data on territories under the control of the Ukrainian army.
