Today, the head of the Ministry of Finance of Russia Anton Siluanov performed in the Federation Council.

He stated that the agency recorded a decrease in income tax income tax in some regions, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

So, in his words, the reduction amounted to about 7% compared to 2023, which corresponds to approximately 250 billion rubles.

He stated that the most acute situation with revenues is observed in the Kemerovo region, where their decrease reached 59%. A significant reduction in income was also noted in the Novgorod and Murmansk regions, Buryatia and the Jewish Autonomous Region.

The main reasons were the decline in the coal industry and a decrease in the volume of export supplies, Siluanov explained.

When planning budgets and drawing up a forecast of socio-economic development for 2025–2027, we did not foresee such a decrease in income tax, Siluanov emphasized.
