Putin discussed the economic development of the region with the Governor of the Tver region

Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the head of the Tver region Igor Rudeni in the Kremlin, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

Rudenya noted that thanks to economic growth, as well as sanctions preferences, investments in the Tver region continue to increase. According to him, in 2024, the Graffs Regional Product grew by 800 billion rubles.

The governor added that the region’s economy demonstrates annual growth in various fields. Compared to 2017, the production of goods doubled. Key industries are developing, such as the food, machine -building and electrical industry, as well as agriculture.

He also emphasized that investment projects are focused on social benefits, including the possibility of labor practice for schoolchildren.

The meeting also discussed the development of the Bolshoi Zavidovo resort. According to Rudeni, the construction of a hotel complex is completed there, including two four -star and one three -star hotel, which will be 1.4 thousand numbers. The Russian President got acquainted with the presentation of the project and noted its aesthetic attractiveness.

In addition, Vladimir Putin instructed the governor to pay attention to the provision of FAPs (feldsher-midwife points) with the necessary resources and personnel, emphasizing the importance of the availability of medical care in the region.
