Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Stanislav Kuznetsov made several statements about scammers and hacker attacks that Sberbank is subject to.

On average, 3-5 DDOS attacks are carried out per day per bank. However, the intensity of attacks has decreased – there are no longer such large-scale attacks as in early May. We also managed to find out where the cyber attacks are coming from: most of them come from the USA, China and Europe.

Kuznetsov Bank also said that the fraudulent call center discovered in Berdyansk had the data of about 20 million Russians and acted in agreement with the Ukrainian authorities. At the same time, his activities were supported from the Netherlands, Germany, the USA and Estonia.

Sber has recorded that attackers today make up to 50 thousand calls a day. Kuznetsov noted that today Sberbank’s database contains more than 1 million fraudulent numbers, and also said that since the beginning of the year the bank has blocked more than 50 thousand dropper cards.
