Such institutions of the Ministry of Justice carry out examinations of communications equipment mainly within the framework of criminal cases – at the request of investigators and intelligence services. The most commonly used software package is called “Mobile Forensic Investigator” from the Russian company Oxygen Software, which recently rebranded and became “MKO Systems”. Apparently, the company has included Onlyfans in its portfolio of services.
The paid intimate video service Onlyfans had not previously been found in the program requirements of Russian forensic experts, but its appearance in the procurement indicates that the intimate industry will be under greater control of the security forces. In 2020–2021, raids were carried out on webcam studios in Krasnoyarsk, Cherepovets and St. Petersburg, and criminal cases were opened against the organizers for the illegal production and trafficking of pornographic materials.
