How many of them were Russians has not yet been clarified. Polish law enforcement officials report that the detainees are foreigners who “arrived from beyond the eastern border” and received money from Russian intelligence services for completed tasks.

The arrest occurred after Polish law enforcement officers discovered dozens of hidden video cameras at railway junctions. According to RMF FM, sections of railway tracks in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship were mainly equipped with cameras, in particular near the airport in Rzeszow-Jasionka, through which the West supplies weapons to Ukraine.
